About Our School

Founded in 1952, Govt. Model Higher Secondary School Partapur has grown from a small village school into one of the principal centres of learning in the Nubra valley. Generations of students from Partapur and the surrounding villages have passed through its classrooms and gone on to serve in education, administration, defence, agriculture and enterprise.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and has been identified as a Model School by the Department of School Education, UT Ladakh. Steady growth in enrolment over recent years reflects the trust the community places in the school.
